Buakaw Makes His Return to Japan To Face Rukiya Anpo at Rizin 42

The world of Muay Thai has seen some epic battles over the years, but few have been as highly anticipated as the fight between Buakaw Banchamek and Rukiya Anpo. These two warriors are known for their exceptional skills in the ring, and when they squared off, fans knew they were in for a treat.

Buakaw has been participating in exhibition matches recently but will be returning to the country where he really made his name as a global star.

Buakaw Banchamek is a well-known Muay Thai fighter from Thailand, with a career spanning over two decades. He has won numerous championships and accolades, including the K-1 World MAX Championship in 2004 and 2006. Buakaw is known for his powerful kicks, quick footwork, and fierce determination. He upset Japanese fans recently by knocking out Yoshihiro Sato in a bout that was supposed to be an exhibition.

Rukiya Anpo, on the other hand, is a rising star in the world of Muay Thai. Hailing from Japan, Anpo has quickly made a name for himself as a formidable opponent in the ring. He has won multiple championships in Japan and has even competed in Thailand, where he has earned the respect of his peers. Anpo is the former K-1 super lightweight champion and has won his last three fights.
